CREME BRULEE

4 MINUTE COOK TIME

Ingredients:

Filling:
  • 2 cups warm whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 cup warm water
Topping:
  • 3 tsp. sugar

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Custard:

    • Mix all the filling ingredients together, except for warm water and the 3 tsp. of sugar.
  2. Fill the Ramekins:

    • Fill four 4-oz. ramekin baking dishes with the custard mixture.
    • Wrap them well with aluminum foil.
  3. Prepare the Pressure Cooker:

    • Place the inner pot into the Power Pressure Cooker XL.
    • Pour 1 cup of warm water into the inner pot.
    • Place the 4 ramekins into the inner pot.
  4. Cook the Crème Brûlée:

    • Place the lid on the Power Pressure Cooker XL, lock the lid, and switch the pressure release valve to Closed.
    • Press the FISH/VEGETABLE button.
    • Press the COOK TIME SELECT button until you reach 4 minutes.
  5. Final Steps:

    • Once the timer reaches 0, the cooker will automatically switch to KEEP WARM.
    • Switch the pressure release valve to Open.
    • When the steam is completely released, remove the lid.
  6. Chill the Custard:

    • Carefully remove the ramekins from the cooker and refrigerate for 3 hours.
  7. Caramelize the Sugar:

    • Sprinkle 3 tsp. of sugar evenly on top of the custards.
    • Place under the broiler to caramelize the sugar.
  8. Serve & Enjoy:

    • Serve with fresh berries.
