APPLE CRISP
15 MINUTE COOK TIME
Ingredients:
- 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled & thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp. sea salt
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 1 cup warm water
- Optional: Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
Instructions:

Prepare the Apples:
- In a bowl, sprinkle apples with lemon juice.

Make the Crisp Topping:
- In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and butter.

Layer the Apple Crisp:
- In a 6-inch baking dish, layer apples and oat crisp mixture, starting with apples.
- Cover the dish with foil, ensuring the top layer is oat crisp.

Prepare the Pressure Cooker:
- Place the inner pot in the Power Pressure Cooker XL.
- Pour 1 cup of warm water into the inner pot.
- Place the baking dish in the inner pot.

Cook the Apple Crisp:
- Place the lid on the Power Pressure Cooker XL, lock the lid, and switch the pressure release valve to Closed.
- Press the BEANS/LENTILS button.
- Press the COOK TIME SELECT button until you reach 15 minutes.

Final Steps:
- Once the timer reaches 0, the cooker will automatically switch to KEEP WARM.
- Switch the pressure release valve to Open.
- When the steam is completely released, remove the lid.

Cool & Serve:
- Carefully remove the Apple Crisp from the cooker and remove the foil.
- Let it stand for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with optional vanilla ice cream.
