ROASTED CHICKEN

30 MINUTE COOK TIME

Ingredients:

  • 3 (1kg) whole chickens
  • 1 tbsp. granulated garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 sprig rosemary, stemmed and chopped
  • 1 sprig thyme, stemmed and chopped
  • 1 tbsp. sea salt
  • 1 tbsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Seasoning:

    • Combine all the spices (garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, thyme, salt, and black pepper) in a bowl.
  2. Prepare the Pressure Cooker:

    • Place the inner pot into the Power Pressure Cooker XL.
    • Press the SAUTÉ button.
    • Pour the olive oil into the pot.
  3. Season & Brown the Chicken:

    • Season all the chickens with the spice mixture.
    • Place the chickens into the inner pot, browning them one at a time on all sides.
  4. Cook the Chicken:

    • Place the lid on the Power Pressure Cooker XL, lock the lid, and switch the pressure release valve to Closed.
    • Press the CANCEL button.
    • Press the SOUP/STEW button twice to set the time to 30 minutes.
  5. Final Steps:

    • Once the timer reaches 0, the cooker will automatically switch to KEEP WARM.
    • Switch the pressure release valve to Open.
    • When the steam is completely released, remove the lid.
  6. Serve & Enjoy!
