PULLED PORK

10 HOURS COOK TIME

Ingredients:

  • 1.8 kg boneless pork butt or picnic shoulder
  • Kosher salt (or coarse salt if unavailable)
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
  • 250g smokey BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. coriander
  • 3 cups water
  • Soft hamburger rolls

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pressure Cooker:

    • Place the inner pot in the Power Pressure Cooker XL.
    • Add all the ingredients except BBQ sauce and hamburger rolls.
  2. Cook the Pork:

    • Place the lid on the Power Pressure Cooker XL, lock the lid, and switch the pressure release valve to Closed.
    • Press the SLOW COOK button twice, then increase the TIME ADJUSTMENT button to 10 hours.
  3. Final Steps:

    • Once the timer reaches 0, the cooker will automatically switch to KEEP WARM.
    • Switch the pressure release valve to Open.
    • When the steam is completely released, remove the lid.
    • Remove the pork, shred with a fork, and mix in the BBQ sauce.
  4. Serve & Enjoy:

    • Serve on soft hamburger rolls.
